This is one of those recipes that has no
measurements—you just layer, drizzle, sprinkle and bake—which makes for
a very easy vegetable dish that can be prepared ahead and timed to come
out of the oven when the rest of the meal is ready to go.
1. Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees.
2. In a shallow baking dish, layer:
Asparagus stalks, tough ends snapped off and discarded
3. Drizzle with:
Small amount of olive oil
4. Sprinkle with:
Garlic salt
Italian seasoning
Grated Parmesan cheese
5. Bake until asparagus is tender and cheese is melted and
browning—approximately 10-12 minutes.
6.
Serve with a squeeze of lemon.
