Don’t
wait until Thanksgiving to serve sweet potatoes or
yams to your family. These fries go great with a turkey burger.
1.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. Peel 2 large sweet potatoes or yams and
slice into fat French fry lengths.
3. In a large bowl, combine and toss:
Potato or yam slices
1 Tbsp olive oil
½ tsp garlic salt
½ tsp paprika
4. Arrange coated potato slices in
a single layer on 12x17” cookie sheet.

Bake until edges are crisp – about 30 minutes -
stirring half-way through with a metal spatula.
Makes enough for two.
Note: The first time I made these fries, I sliced a few too thin and
they cooked too quickly, turning dark brown.
