A chunky, flavorful salsa, this recipe is great as a party snack
or before-dinner appetizer served with tortilla chips (look for chips with no trans fats).
It's also delicious on chicken soft tacos or a build-your-own taco salad. 1. In a large bowl, combine:
3-4 tomatoes, diced
1 avocado, chopped
1 cup frozen white corn, thawed
¼ cup olives, sliced
½ green bell pepper,
diced
½ red bell pepper, diced
2-3 green onions, sliced
½ small red onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 Tbsp fresh cilantro, snipped
2. Gently toss with:
1 Tbsp. lime juice
1 tsp Mrs. Dashs garlic seasoning
1 tsp chili powder
½ tsp lemon pepper
3. Serve with corn tortilla chips. |
